Home Studio
A QUIET PLACE TO COMPOSE AND PLAY LOUD
Designing my home recording studio was a practical yet transformative journey, initially envisioned through meticulous CAD designs. With blueprints in hand, I transitioned to hands-on work, kicking off the process with the satisfying demolition of a wall to make way for my creative haven. Teaming up with Masacustic, I harnessed their expertise and we tuned the frequency response of the ceiling, walls and ground floor to avoid frequency couplings and build effective high pass filters based on a simple but effective mass-spring system.
The studio’s layout was finalized with a dedicated desk and forniture to host the amplifiers, so to ease the workflow.

And then, the pivotal moment arrived. With a decisive switch, the studio burst to life. From the initial CAD designs to a comfortable home studio where composing and recording even in the middle of the night is possible.
